How To Unpublish A Google Site
Step 1: Sign in to your Google account.
Step 2: Click on the drop-down menu that says “My Sites”. This will bring up all of your Google sites.
Step 3: Click on the site’s name you wish to unpublish. This will bring up all of the information about that google site, including the name and location, as well as a link to manage it.
Step 4: Scroll down until you see an option that says “Manage this Site” and click on it.
Step 5: This will bring up all of the options for managing your site.
Step 6: Click on “Deactivate” and click on “Yes-Deactivate”.
Step 7: You will get a notice asking if you are sure to deactivate your site. Click on “Yes-Deactivate” again to confirm this action. Your site will now be deactivated and no longer published anywhere online.
Step 8: To republish, click on the option that says “My Sites” and then click on “Google Site Manager” (at the bottom).
Step 9: Click on “Activate” and click on “Yes-Activate”. This will republish your site to the internet.
Step 10: You will be taken back to your My Site manager page, in which you can see that your site is now activated. Repeat this process if you want to unpublish and republish the site again at a later date.
