Create a new site – How To Upload HTML File To New Google Sites
To get started with Google Sites, sign up for a free Google account. Once you’ve done so, click the “Create a site” link at the top of any Google homepage. After filling in the information requested by Google, you’ll be taken to the next step. At this point, you can choose to either create a free site, or pay $25 per month to create a premium site (that allows you to create more pages, add custom CSS, and host a few more files).

You can use the HTML editor or the visual designer to create a basic web page. If you choose the visual designer, you can upload your design directly from Google Docs, and the page will update live on your site. If you’re using the HTML editor, you can click the “Design this site” button on the right side of the page. The editor opens the Visual Design Tools panel and lets you drag widgets from a library of available elements onto your site.
Publish the HTML to the new site
Once you’ve completed all of this, the last step is publishing the HTML to the new site in Google site. Go to Google site and click the “Publish” tab. Fill in your site’s title and description, as well as select the destination URL you want it to go to. Then, just click the “Publish” button. When the page finishes loading, you’ll see a message saying that you’ve successfully published the HTML, which means it should be showing up on the new site in Google search. If you don’t see it, click the “Reload” button. Then refresh your browser and go back to your new site to check it out.
